When engineering meets history, the result is not just a project: it becomes an integral part of a broader narrative, capable of transcending time.
It is precisely from this dialogue that the collaboration between Capoferri and the Fondazione Brescia Musei at the Capitolium di Brescia was born. A journey built over the years, grounded in trust, shared expertise, and a deep respect for cultural heritage.
From the creation of the bronze portals for the entrance to the archaeological site—fully custom systems designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing structures without interfering with the historical architecture—to more recent interventions such as the restoration and exhibition design of the Vittoria Alata, each project has marked a step forward in this dialogue between contemporaneity and memory.

A New Chapter: “Victoria Mater”
Today, this collaboration continues with Victoria Mater. L’Idolino e l’Icona, an installation by Francesco Vezzoli at the Capitolium.
For this project, Capoferri contributed to the engineering of the base and the exhibition display elements—an अत्यremely delicate intervention, where structural precision, material expertise, and reversibility are essential.
In a context like this, every decision must be both invisible and essential.

The Role of Bronze in the Exhibition Space
The bronze elements that define the exhibition setting and its base become an integral part of the experience. Not merely technical components, but a true system designed to interact with space, light, and artworks, contributing to the construction of the exhibition narrative.
It is within this balance that Capoferri’s know-how takes shape: a combination of bespoke design, craftsmanship, and deep expertise in bronze.
A new chapter in a collaboration that continues to evolve, project after project.
📍 The installation is on view until June 21
There is still time to discover the intervention by Francesco Vezzoli at the Capitolium, where archaeology and contemporary art meet in unexpected ways, with Capoferri contributing to the project.
