The Sky Bar is the new jewel of the La Cigale Hotel in Doha Qatar, renowned for its luxury and excellent service. Among the features is a spiral staircase made from stainless steel and with treads of oak, complete with LED lighting, enclosed by a sector-curved fixed façade of stainless steel. The highlight however is the undulating main façade, 24 meters wide and 6 meters high, consisting of 30 glazed sliding panels, 80cm by 600cm, which can be stacked in either corner of the structure. The façade is usually open all day during winter, while it remains closed in summer to allow the air conditioning to cool the interior. The panels comprising the façade are all top-hung, in order to avoid transfer of vibration and noise to the Executive Residence floors below.
