SHOWROOM
M55The M55 windows consist of a special profile designed and produced by Capoferri, obtained from the composition of solid and tubular elements – drawn or laminated – with an interposed wooden profile that functions as thermal break.
This special composition allows the customization of the profile with the dimensions required by the designer, without the inevitable constraints of standard profiles.
The union between the parts is provided by means of punctual mechanical fixing with a system of our design.
The profile that forms the frame of the window is welded on all four corners thus avoiding the use of brackets or rivets. The welds, performed to the highest standards, are invisible.
The M55 series profiles have no visible glazing bead to enhance the essentiality of their shape and each section has been designed to keep it as minimal as possible.
The thickness of the internal and external face of the frame or panels is 5 mm.
The total minimal thickness of the profile is 55mm and mounts a 35mm double glazed unit; increasing the thickness of the glass consequently increases the thickness of the window.
To overcome the limits of weight, dimensions, and materials of the hardware available on the market, CAPOFERRI have decided to design and build our own exclusive hardware that allows us to create doors and windows with unlimited dimensions and weights and to obtain and offer unique performances to the market.
The hardware for casement windows (BTN) is from 316 stainless steel, produced by Capoferri. The hardware consists of a 25×3 section plate and a 14×3 transmission plate that moves the closing rollers and controls the upper vertical bolt on the handle side. The transmission slider is driven by a gear with a tray-shaped rack-and-pinion transmission to reduce overall dimensions. 316 stainless steel strike plates are cast. For double-leaf doors, the secondary leaf is held in place by two sliding bolts (lower and upper) moved by a lever with gear, pinion, rack, and inverter. The ends of the sliding bolts are adjustable and cast. A special LIMITER is also part of the Capoferri hardware department: a special bayonet that, activated by moving the handle upwards, hooks the door and keeps it in a safe ventilation position.
The special hardware for Lift&Slide is made from 316 stainless steel, complete with anti-burglary locking hooks on the stile with handle and fixed hooks on the center stile. The front cover plate is from 316 stainless steel or bronze. The wheels for sliding are made from Brall, a very resistant and self-lubricating bronze/aluminum alloy, with special anti-derailing wings on its rollers. The roller carriages, equipped with a special gas spring concealed in the window, have a capacity of up to 800 kg. Special decelerators (optional) can be hidden in the leaf to slow down the movement of the door both during opening and closing.
All gaskets are made of synthetic material resistant to ultraviolet rays and atmospheric agents.
The innovative process that uses additive manufacturing technology starting from 3D models, allows the creation of ad hoc molds designed for a specific application. The gaskets obtained guarantee sealing performances that are unmatched on the market.
Assembly takes place by pushing the gasket into a special joint obtained along the entire perimeter of the door; the corners are welded to ensure perfect sealing and stability in the housing.
The threshold of the casement doors is made from stainless steel or bronze, flush with finished floor-level and comes with a thermal break, it guarantees perfect water tightness thanks to the patented “flap” system, which consists of a rotating gasket mounted on the door.
The threshold of the Lift&Slide doors is also from 316 stainless steel or bronze, again flush with finished floor-level and also comes with a thermal break. Water tightness is guaranteed by a system of special silicone gaskets and bumpers.
The upper guide of the Lift&Slide windows is made from 316 stainless steel or bronze (5 mm thick) and makes an excellent mechanical seal against the wind.
The window drip consists of a silicone profile fixed on the lower rail of the fixed frame. Special silicone rubber plugs are applied to the ends of the drip to ensure water tightness. The drip is capped with a metal profile (316 stainless steel or bronze) and can be covered by a wooden drip on the leaf if requested (optional).
The M55 windows can be made from stainless-steel (matt, satin, polished or painted in RAL colors), and bronze (in light, medium or dark oxidized finishes).
Capoferri carries the certification of its Quality Management System according to UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard for the installation of wood and metal frames (IAF28), the design, production and supply of metal frames and carpentry structures (IAF17), to the design, production and supply of windows and wooden structures (IAF06).
Capoferri is also CE certified for the factory production control (FPC) of steel metal structures – certificate n ° 0398 / CPR / MP / 16.022, according to EN 1090-1: 2009 + A1: 2011 standard and in compliance with the Regulation EU n. 305/2011 of the European Parliament.
