A distinct, iconic building immersed in the breathtaking landscape surrounding Aspen (Colorado); designed by BCJ to be entirely permeated by natural light, creating a continuity of the surrounding and offering an extraordinary experience of the relationship between inside and outside. After sunset, the entire building glows like a lantern, emanating a magic aura that adds another level of interpretation. A complex and ambitious project that required absolute precision during manufacturing, as no correction was possible on site. All windows are made from thermally broken stainless steel. Capoferri also provided the external metal cladding, skylights, automated openings and oversized lift&slide windows.
