1894

The artisan workshop for windows and furniture of Giuseppe Capoferri is born in Adrara San Martino, in the province of Bergamo

1940

Federico Capoferri emphasizes quality and design and starts to specialize in the production of wood windows

1972

The entrepreneurial innovation of Sergio Capoferri transforms a small laboratory into a technical department: the space for studying, designing, and engineering

1976

The Capoferri multi-locked glue-laminated timber is patented: an avant-garde solution that allows for new technological design solutions.

1978

The Capoferri brand name is born: symbolized by a logo based on a technical representation of the opening types of windows at the time with a nod to the ecological/green vocation of the company.

1988

The Capoferri metal workshop is inaugurated. Here innovative elements and mechanical components are completely custom-built

1998

The fifth generation enters the company: Paolo, Francesco, and later, Luca.

2000

The beginning of collaborations with architects of international fame such as Renzo Piano, David Chipperfield, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Michele de Lucchi, Mario Cucinella and Antonio Citterio & Partners amongst others

2018

Capoferri USA, based in New York and with a showroom in the Hamptons on Long Island, is born

2019

Capoferri celebrate 125 years of activity.
